What is Paintball?

Paintball is a fast-paced, full body outdoor game of teamwork and strategy. It’s the perfect activity for groups of friends or families looking to get out of the house and enjoy a great workout that involves more than just running around on a trampoline park or driving a go-kart. It’s the ultimate team sport, requiring real-time communication between players and a higher level of coordination and critical thinking than other activities such as laser tag or bowling.

Players wear protective masks and use a marker, or gun, to shoot marble sized “paint” pellets at opposing players on a field of natural terrain or manmade obstacles. A resevoir for extra paintballs and a source of pressurized gas are also usually attached to the marker. Our expert game marshals will guide you through a safety briefing and explain the rules of the game before sending you on your way.

The most common game mode is team death match although other games can be played such as capture the flag or protect the president (where one player is selected as the “president” and the enemy team must eliminate them). In more specialized scenario play, vehicles are used to transport players into different parts of the playing area, giving them access to areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach on foot.

People worry about how much it hurts to be shot with a paintball but, with the latest lightweight equipment and top-quality body armour, it feels no more than being flicked by a rubber band. Plus, the sensation only lasts a second!
