Paintball Basics

paintball

Paintball is a team-based tactical sport in which players eliminate each other by tagging them with capsules (usually made of non-toxic, biodegradable water-soluble dye and featuring a gelatin outer shell) that are expelled from a marker/gun. The game is played in over 40 countries by millions of men and women of all ages, professions, and lifestyles. Anyone, regardless of age, size, or strength, can be a star player when strategy and teamwork are used to the best advantage.

Before the game begins, participants will be given a safety briefing. This will give you the tips and tricks to play the game effectively, as well as the rules of the game zone you are playing in. Listen carefully and take note of any marshals giving you advice, the more prepared you are when stepping onto the field the better you will play.

While at the field, you will be asked to fill out a waiver form. Once you have completed this, the marshals will then take you to your game zone and lead the way for you to get into your gear and start your adventure.

The basic objective of the game is to eliminate all the opponents, but each field can have different objectives like capture the flag or elimination. The game can last anywhere from a few seconds to hours or even days in specialized scenario play. It is a fast-paced, adrenaline pumping sport that requires skill and a strong competitive spirit.
